About us
SCC Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH was founded on 27.12.2000. The company's founder and current managing director, Mr Georg Gundel, has been active in the tuning and accessories sector since 1984.
1984
In December, the managing director Mr. Georg Gundel founded the SCC Special Car Center GmbH in Roth near Nuremberg. From the beginning, it deals with sporty car accessories. After a short time, the technical approval of special modifications becomes a central topic of SCC Special Car Center GmbH.
1986
After several renovations and expansion of the business premises in Roth, a branch is opened in Neumarkt/Opf. In the same year, a workshop for the installation of sporty car accessories is added in Georgensgmünd.
1987
Another branch is opened in Ebermannstadt as a franchise operation. The workshop quickly developed to become a specialist for sporty conversions and wide versions of many vehicles.
1991
The head office in Roth is relocated to a new building in Röttenbach with approx. 250m² of shop space, a large warehouse and workshop.
1992
The branch in Neumarkt is sold.
1995
The merger with the company "DAS TEAM", which was engaged in accident repair and vehicle painting, was decided.
1996
A modern workshop and paint shop is built in a specially converted building with a shop area, similar to the one in Röttenbach. The company "DAS TEAM" and the "SCC Special Car Center GmbH" become the "SCC TEAM".
1998
The paint shop is replaced by a Honda dealership and opened in October of the same year in a newly constructed extension. Throughout the year, the business area of manufacturing vehicle parts has grown steadily and, in order to do justice to this area, SCC Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH is founded.
2003
In Georgensgmünd, the new modern company building with an area of 714 m² is occupied.
2005
The company headquarters is expanded with a warehouse building over 405 m².
2006
Another completely new warehouse and dispatch building with an area of 488 m² is built. After completion of the new warehouse and dispatch building, the old warehouse area is converted into a new office area in 2007.
2009
A completely new warehouse building with an area of 625 m². The warehouse building, which was expanded in 2005, is converted into a production facility.
2010
Since the beginning of the year, the prototype construction and individual productions for exclusive rims of the own brand "Diamond" are located there.
2015
The storage area is expanded by a further 300 m² warehouse and automotive assembly hall. In this year, a factory representation for an Italian manufacturer of extruded components is also taken over.
In the meantime, the company has employed more than 25 people just for the development, distribution and shipping of wheel spacers as well as for the prototype and custom-made wheel rim sector.
2017
The logistics building is being extended to create a further 500 m² of storage space.
In addition, the office space is expanded by 200 m² to create room for the now more than 35 employees.
2018
Leasing of additional office space (200 m²). In the meantime, around 45 people are employed.
2019
Thanks to consistent further development of the product and service portfolio, the company now employs over 50 people.
2020
In order to react even better and faster to our customers in the future, we have intensively expanded our storage contingent in the south warehouse this year.
2021
With the purchase and renovation of another property, there are now another 150 m² of office space and a 200 m² showroom available for VARANEO.
